2-Day PLUS Program Development Training
The 2-Day training prepares a school team to launch the PLUS Program and keep it running. Your team works through the 30-day cycle of student voice, data, Forums and action planning, and leaves with a plan for your campus.
What the training builds
The two days are designed for a site team to learn together. Administrators, counselors and Advisors hear the same information at the same time, which is what allows a school to act on what its students report. By the end, your team has taken part in a Forum, worked in Direction and drafted a plan for launching PLUS on your campus.
How to select and prepare a student team that represents the whole campus.
How to run a student Forum and read the results beside your Direction survey data.
How to turn what students report into activities that respond to it.
How PLUS supports the MTSS, PBIS and school safety work already under way.
Who attends
We recommend a team of three from each site: an administrator, a counselor and the teacher who will lead the class as the PLUS Advisor. A site may bring up to four people, and a fifth may attend at no charge.
What it costs
The 2-Day training is included in the first year price of the PLUS Program. Each year after, the subscription includes one training registration for a new staff member. All prices are on the Costs page.
